Chief Russian spacecraft designer Yevgeny Mikrin died due to COVID-19

It's unfortunate that great minds and intellectual contributors to science such as Chief Russian spacecraft designer, scientist, and architect Yevgeny Mikrin contributed immensely to the International Space Station module developed by Russians who died in Moscow Hospital due to COVID-19 on 05th May 2020 at the age of 64.
Arguably Covid-19 has been the most unexpected and tragic catastrophic epidemic world experiencing after world war two. No country is safe given the fact that its sudden and surprising nature level of discomfort and uncertainty.
Yevgeny Mikrin, 64 old outstanding scientists earlier tested positive for COVID-19 has been treating from home. However, his condition deteriorated sharply and admitted to the hospital. There is no report about the specific cause of his death.
His dismiss marks a great loss to space science and the Russian space program. The Russian Academy of Sciences(RAS) has acknowledged the contribution made by Yevgeny Mikrin calling him an outstanding person and a brilliant mind.
Yevgeny Mikrin was born on October 15, 1955, in Lebedyan, Lipetsk region, and graduated from Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Yevgeny Mikrin was part of one of the most renowned space corporations Energia (known previously as, NPO Energia rocket and space corporation). Mikron joined Energia back in the early 1980s and continue to work up until is dismiss. Mikrin joined Energia back in the early 1980s, history remarkable contribution to flight control system designing practical rocket designing Buran – dubbed the Soviet Space Shuttle and Russia’s modules of the International Space Station (ISS).
Yevgeny Mikrin is well known for his designing and management skills contributing to the development of control systems for manned transportation and unmanned cargo spacecraft, multi-modular space stations, unmanned spacecraft for various applications.
His outstanding contribution to the flight control system designing practical rocket designing Buran – dubbed the Soviet Space Shuttle and Russia’s modules of the International Space Station (ISS).
From 2015 Yevgeny Mikrin acts as the chairman of the scientific and technical council of RSC Energia. He has been an outstanding contributor to space science development and technical activities when implementing competitive space projects.
