What they revealed in Apple’s September event.
Apple’s September event took place on yesterday. They revealed new information about their products. Let’s dig in.
Yesterday at its September hardware launch, Apple unveiled a host of new devices and features, but no news about its future iPhones. Perhaps the next month will come later in the month. One of Apple’s major announcements is the latest Apple Watch Series 6, priced at $399. A new Apple S6 silicone chip with an energy-saving display is included in the new wearable. It lands even with a sensor of blood oxygen. The new Apple Watch SE, which is priced at $279, has also been revealed by Apple.
The new Family Setup method helps families to remain linked even though certain family members do not have an iPhone. It also has a family-tracking feature, which helps parents to make sure, for example, that their children go to school or play sports.
Apple launches a new subscription for fitness+ at a price of $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. The service is available in the exercise app and focuses on health programs at home which are partly taken off due to the current pandemic. But to date, this move does not seem to fluster the fitness industry too much.
A single band that removes the regular clasp in favor of stretchy silicone can now be equipped with a Solo Loop for your Apple Watch. Seven colors and a variety of sizes are available.
Apple said the iPad line-up is refreshed with a new iPad Air fourth generation. A 10.9-inch 2360 T1640 resolution retinas monitor is shown and the new slender iPad Air replaces the Lightning port with a USB Cable. The new iPad Air features a fingerprint sensor Touch ID built into the power button, and a new 4 K rear camera with 12-megapixels.
The latest, super quick five nanometer A14 Bionic chip, which is now landing on the latest iPad Air, has been unveiled by pple. It is filled with nearly 12 billion chips and has a 16-core neural engine that relies on machine learning and artificial intelligency. It is 40% higher than previous iterations of chips.
In its latest Apple One package, Apple rolls its subscriptions to one place with an Apple subscription for TV, music, games as well as iCloud storage fees. There are three levels, one for individuals, one for families, and the top level provides a complete subscription service bundle for Apple.
Apple has said that today, September 16, its long awaited app updates will arrive. This includes iOS 14, iPadOS 14, Apple Watch wearables watchOS 14 and Apple TV boxes tvOS 14.
And iOS 14 features a new, updated map, new Siri interface and a latest integrated translator app with new privacy and security features.
